Here are their stories. What will yours sound like?
We work closely with couples to understand what makes them unique, and tailor the music and lyrics to capture their spirit, values and history. In each of the samples below, you can see how we bring these stories to life and hear the different kinds of instrumentation we offer, including the intimacy of just acoustic guitar and vocals, the lushness of a string quartet, and the energy of a full band.

Adam & EricaAdam and Erica came to us with a love story that spanned many miles. When he was in college in Boston, Adam used to drive seven hundred and fifty miles--each way--to visit Erica in college in Ohio, often just to see her for one night. Eventually, he transferred there to be closer to her. There, they formed a close-knit community of friends, including many musicians (Adam is a talented drummer). After several years in Ohio, they moved out to Los Angeles with bandmates and started a new life, though Ohio was always on their minds. After several years of the glitz and grind of Southern California living, they decided to start a family, and knew they wanted to move somewhere that felt like home. Where better than the place that their love took shape? Now their family is growing and their roots are deep. The song--”Always Ohio”--practically wrote itself.

Celine & DeanCeline and Dean go way back. They met when they were only in kindergarten! Childhood crushes simmered into the real thing by their teenage years, when they shared a kiss underneath a peach tree at Celine’s parents’ house. From that moment, their love blossomed, and it was just icing on the cake when they decided to get married in their mid-twenties. Their relationship has been defined by adventure, world travel, and good clean fun. Though they have traveled through Thailand, Germany, Portugal, Italy, and many other places, they have always delighted in the simple, wholesome pleasures: bonfires with friends, picking guitars, a glass of wine. Something about that first kiss under the peach tree encapsulated that down-to-earth, old-fashioned true love, and the song took shape around that image.

Rachel & MichaelRachel and Michael were one of the first couples that we worked with. They were having trouble choosing songs for their wedding ceremony, and as we chatted about other things, they gradually revealed details about their unique story. Rachel had made her way east from the San Joaquin Valley in California and met Michael in Philadelphia, where they had settled. From the details of their first date to the way that they carried themselves as a couple, their relationship reflected a joyous spontaneity at every turn. We tried to capture this in the music and lyrics of their special song, sprinkling in details about their bicoastal history, their first date, and above all, their tunnel vision for one another.
